PGA Golf Professionals
do much more than play golf!
PGA Golf Day and the 100 Holes for History was established by PGA Professionals in the Gulf States Section PGA to raise money for the wonderful endeavors of the Bayou District Foundation and City Park. Additionally, the purpose is to help fund permanent office space for the PGA Gulf States and more importantly a museum and Hall of Fame within the soon to be constructed clubhouse at City Park.
PGA Professionals and all other supporters of the program play 100 holes of golf: all in 1 day, 1 ball, and 1 hole at a time. Participants register through this website and create their own fundraising page through which they request and acquire contributions for their efforts.
Construction of the new City Park Championship Golf Course has begun. Therefore, this year will be the last 100 Holes for History as we will be moving to a more traditional pro-am at City Park after the course opens.
The mission of the Bayou District Foundation is to implement an innovative community redevelopment model - focused on education - that enables children and families to escape the cycle of poverty, build a thriving community, and live productive, healthy and fulfilling lives. We welcome you to explore this website, register to take part in our campaign, or to simple contribute to your favorite golfer. Donations are tax deductible and all monies go directly toward this wonderful cause.
