Dear Friends,
I am going to play 100 holes of golf in one day! I have committed to participate in the NCPGA 100 Holes Challenge on Thursday, June 13th. The NCPGA 100 Holes Challenge was established by local PGA professionals to raise money for local community programs and charities through the Northern California PGA Foundation.
This year we have a new Foundation as our recipient of the 100 Hole Challenge. “For Your Eyes Only Prosthetic Foundation” is a newly formed Foundation to benefit individuals and families in need of financial support during the process of obtaining a prosthetic eye. This journey is the story of a family whose daughter was diagnosed with unilateral retinoblastoma, a rapidly developing cancer that develops in the cells of retina, the light-detecting tissue of the eye. The young lady was 2 and a half years old and went through chemotherapy, the loss of an eye and now needs a “new” eye every couple of years. She is now a beautiful young lady of 15 years old. The financial hardships that this family has endured have brought an awareness of the difficulty in dealing with the need to have new prosthetics made every few years to accommodate the growth of a child. With your help they can help others in need find their way to a better life for their children.
I'm calling on your support as we strive to reach a goal of $100,000 for the Northern California PGA Foundation and their charities. Please help me in this endeavor by sponsoring me for $1, $2, $5 or more per hole. This pledge is 100% tax deductible through the NCPGA Foundation, a 503(c) organization.
To make your pledge, simply go to our website www.100holeschallenge.org, click on my name or picture, and enter your pledge. It’s that easy!
I really need and appreciate your support. I assure you, your pledge will go a long way in our efforts to benefit the many local community programs and charitable organizations supported by the NCPGA Foundation.
Thank you in advance for making a difference.
