Dear Friend,
I am going to attempt to play 100 holes of golf in one day to raise money for PGA Hope. Yes, I have committed to participate in the this year’s NCPGA Charity Golf Challenge. The NCPGA Charity Golf Challenge was established by local PGA professionals to raise money for local community programs and charities through the Northern California PGA Foundation.
PGA HOPE - our a year-round golf program offered as a therapeutic rehabilitation tool for all military Veterans. The lifetime sport of golf has proven to be an excellent outlet for activity and competition but also allows Veterans to assimilate back into their community through the social interaction the game provides. The personal stories we hear from our PGA HOPE graduates inspire us. "What the HOPE program does for veterans with PTSD is provide us a safe outlet to enjoy a sport we can play for years to come, and the parallels in military and golf values help build new friendships."
