PGA Golf Professionals
do much more than play golf!
PGA Golf Day was established in 2009 by local PGA Club Professionals to raise money for Special Olympics Arizona and the SWSPGA Foundation. PGA professionals play 100 holes of golf or more, all in one day, one ball, and one hole at a time. The estimated time to play is between 11 and 14 hours with no breaks along the way. PGA Professionals kindly request donations to support their day of play.

The Special Olympics Arizona
Despite the fact that intellectual disability transcends the boundaries of race, gender, religion, economic status, education level, politics and culture, it is still the most disregarded and forgotten population in the world. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and is conducting URGENT work in the fields of health care, community building and societal awareness to help improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
